Village Commands


:house_with_garden: Villages Guide (Land Claiming System)

Villages are a custom land-claiming system exclusive to our server. They combine the simplicity of Factions with the flexibility of Towny—allowing players to create, grow, and protect their communities with ease.

This guide explains how to create, manage, and protect your village using the /village command system.


:package: Getting Started

➤ Create a Village

/village create <name>
  • Cost: 256 rubies (refunded if the village is deleted).
  • Creates your village. Does not claim the current chunk.

➤ Join a Village

/village accept <inviteID>
  • Accepts a pending invite from another village.
  • View invites with /village invites.

➤ View Village Info

/village info
  • Shows your current village’s members, claims, and settings.

➤ Browse Villages

/village list
  • Displays all active villages on the server.

:earth_africa: Land Management

Villages protect land on a chunk-by-chunk basis (16x16 blocks per chunk). Claimed land is fully protected from all forms of griefing, including bending.

➤ Claim Land (Adjacent)

/village claim
  • Cost: 32 rubies
  • Claims the chunk you’re standing in.
  • Must be directly next to existing claims.

➤ Claim Outpost (Non-Adjacent)

/village claim
  • Cost: 256 rubies
  • Allows claiming land not connected to your village.
  • Works across worlds (e.g., Nether, End, custom dimensions).

➤ Unclaim Land

/village unclaim
  • Refund: 32 rubies
  • Unclaims the chunk you’re standing in.

➤ View Nearby Claims

/village map
  • Shows a text-based chunk map of surrounding village claims.

➤ Enable Auto-Map

/village map toggle
  • Enables real-time map updates in chat as you move.
  • Lasts for 2 minutes.

➤ Set Village Spawn

/village setspawn
  • Sets your village’s spawn point.
  • There can only be one spawn, even with outposts.

➤ Teleport to Village Spawn

/village spawn
  • 5-minute cooldown.
  • Instantly returns you to your village’s spawn point.

➤ Invite a Player

/village invite <player>
  • Sends a village invite to the specified player.

➤ Leave a Village

/village leave
  • Leaves your current village.

➤ Promote a Member to Co-Owner

/village promote <player>
  • Grants co-owner permissions.

➤ Demote a Co-Owner

/village demote <player>
  • Removes co-owner privileges.

  • Claim/unclaim land
  • Invite/kick members
  • Assign/unassign chunks
  • Manage village settings

➤ Kick a Member

/village remove <player>
  • Removes a player from your village.

:triangular_ruler: Chunk Permissions

You can assign ownership of specific chunks to members for private control.

➤ Assign a Chunk

/village assign <player>
  • Gives the current chunk to a member.
  • Prevents other village members from editing it.

➤ Unassign a Chunk

/village unassign
  • Returns the chunk to general village ownership.

➤ Allow Build Access (Assigned Chunks)

/village allow <player>
  • Used by chunk owners to grant building rights to others in their chunk.

➤ Revoke Build Access

/village disallow <player>
  • Removes a player’s build permission in your assigned chunk.

:gear: Village Settings

➤ Rename Your Village

/village rename <newName>
  • Instantly changes your village name.
  • No cost.

➤ Toggle Member Build Access (Unassigned Chunks)

/village togglememberedit
  • Controls whether members can edit unassigned chunks:
    • Enabled: All members can edit unassigned areas.
    • Disabled: Only assigned chunks can be edited by members.

➤ Delete Your Village

/village delete
  • Disbands your village.
  • Refunds creation cost and claim costs.
